A System, Not a Shoe
Rather than treating footwear as a fixed product, Tracces proposes an adaptable system: a water-resistant inner bootie paired with interchangeable soles for different terrains. Combining biomechanics, material efficiency and additive manufacturing, the design separates high-wear components from longer-lasting ones—enabling repair, replacement and evolution while extending product life and reducing the need for multiple pairs.
